Kieler Völker Festival

The Story

In June 2023, Shebre travelled to Kiel, Germany to perform at the Kieler Völker Festival — one of Europe's largest and oldest multicultural gatherings. Over the course of the festival, the group presented traditional drumming and dance routines drawn from Ghana's diverse ethnic traditions, performing for thousands of festivalgoers on the banks of the Kieler Förche. The engagement marked Shebre's second major European festival appearance and reinforced the group's reputation for high-energy, authentic West African performance on the international stage.
