The Story
Following the success of their 2017 debut, Shebre was invited back to Chile's International Folk Music and Dance Festival in 2018, this time performing in Purrún, Temuco. The return engagement allowed the group to expand on their earlier repertoire, presenting longer sets that included storytelling segments and audience participation. The festival's organisers praised Shebre's ability to connect with audiences despite language barriers, noting the universal resonance of their percussion-driven performances.
“A rhythm that needs no translation.”
